  • Kashmir is a beautiful country.  While there, the madina qadeem of Srinagar was closed to tourist three times due to demonstrations, shootings, and a bomb.
  • Tibet is awe-ful.  The size of the mountains, even at a 5,000 meter snowy pass, is awesome.  On the other hand, rural Tibet may the most backward and dirty place I’ve ever visited.
